Mrs.Tiffany Tomlinson

My name is Tiffany Tomlinson and I am both thrilled and honored to be a St. Mary’s Saint once again! Coming back to St. Mary’s feels like coming home and I am extremely excited to return next year as your assistant principal. I grew up on a farm near Andrew, and I currently reside on an acreage near Innisfree with my family, so Vegreville truly feels like home.

I look forward to once again leading alongside an incredible staff, at a wonderful school, with a rich history. I believe that education thrives on strong partnerships between the school, students and parents, built on meaningful relationships, dynamic curriculum, and exceptional instructional practices, all intertwined with our beautiful faith.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of taking on various administrative, leadership and teaching roles in both Elk Island Catholic Schools and Buffalo Trail Public Schools. These include principalships, athletic director roles, mentoring, directing drama productions, and coaching numerous sports teams over the span of my career, to name a few. My teaching specialties are secondary English language arts, social studies, physical education and foods. As an educator, I am passionate about providing quality instructional practices that create exciting learning opportunities for both students and staff to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. In addition, I recently finished my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Alberta. Beyond school, I enjoy traveling, music, fitness, playing sports, chauffeuring my son around to his various endeavors, all things Disney, and cheering on those Oilers! I am the proud mom of a Vegreville Wrangler, so I may see you around the hockey rink as well!

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you and your children. I look forward to positively contributing to the thriving school culture at St. Mary’s School; a culture that meaningfully blends spiritual purpose with quality educational opportunities. And, I look forward to meeting, connecting and re-connecting with all of you!
