St. Mary's has a proud tradition of excellence in athletics. Our teams have achieved the highest level of sport with a philosophy of hard work, dedication and practice. Our success would not be possible without the hours of dedicated volunteer teachers and coaches who coach our teams.
ST.MARY'S TO HOST 1A BOYS BASKETBALL PROVS. IN VEGREVILLE - March14-16th,2024
STMY was notified of their successful bid to host the 1A Boys Provincial Championships this March 14-16th. This being said there have been a lot of preparations underway throughout this school year and we know that our STMY family will help step up to make this amazing event a HUGE success.
Our main teacher committee met this past week to go over the needs to make this tournament in March a success and we identified a few areas that we are hoping parents and students can join us in:
- Hospitality
- Gate/Concession
- Finding local sponsors
- the general spreading of the word about the event etc.
Just like last year with Volleyball Provincials there will be a need for a small army of Volunteers. There will be an informational meeting in the next couple of weeks for those willing to help out so please stay posted :) In the meantime, you can find the links to Parent and Student Volunteer Sign Up below for areas that we will be asking for help.
