Staffing Changes for Second Semester

As the first semester comes to an end, it is with both sadness for his leaving and joy for his new opportunity, that we wish Mr. Sean Gregg well in a new position! He will be leaving us at the end of this semester, as he has chosen to take a position with Alberta Education starting at the end of January. While he is excited about his new position with Alberta Education, as a Manager in the registrar's office, he has expressed how he will deeply miss everyone at St. Mary's, and appreciates how welcoming everyone has been towards him.

Human resources has selected Mrs. Kelli Giebelhaus to be the acting Assistant Principal at the school for the remainder of the school year. Kelli is an integral part of this community, and will continue to teach, with a reduced amount of subjects (English 20 and Foods) and remain as our current CRC, as well as taking on administration duties. We are excited to have Kelli transition into her new role as part of the administrative team!

We have advertised for a humanities position to offset a blended teaching position of the courses previously assigned to Mr. Gregg and Mrs. Giebelhaus. When we have a successful candidate for the position, we will communicate this as soon as possible to our school community.

Congratulations to both Mr. Gregg and Mrs. Giebelhaus in their new roles!!!
