Friday September 27th We Wear Orange as we aren't in School on Monday September 30th. It is a day to honor and raise awareness of the history and lasting impacts of the residential school system on Indigenous communities, particularly on the children who were taken from their families and forced to attend these schools. The day emphasizes the message that "Every Child Matters", promoting healing and reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians
