Michelle Brownlee

Hi everyone! My name is Michelle Brownlee. As many of you already know, I was born and raised in Edmonton. I have a passion for languages and travel, and  I'm fluent in Italian, Spanish, and English! Recently, I have had the opportunity to travel to Cuba, and Chile and am always fascinated with learning about other cultures.  I have a BEd. in Secondary education with a Major in Italian and a minor in Spanish. In addition to teaching my own second and third languages, I have also had the opportunity to teach ESL (English as a Second Language) at the post-secondary level. Additionally, I have just completed a Master's degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Portland. At St. Mary's, I am the Student Learning Services Facilitator, as well as, you can see me teaching a wide variety of classes including Language Arts 7 & 8, English 10 and Spanish. When I'm not travelling the world, I usually spend my free time at the gym, cooking for my friends and family as well as learning a variety of Latin dances. I have been teaching for 10 years and am happy to call St. Mary's home!
